About us

Dr. Tysa Judd was born and raised in the Gallatin Valley. She found her love of dentistry through her mother, Mary Ann Tramp, who was a dental hygienist in Bozeman for over 40 years. She attended Sheridan College and graduated in 2007 with her AAS and BS in Dental Hygiene. She then returned to Bozeman and practiced with several excellent dentists.

While caring for her patients, she found the desire to expand her clinical abilities. In 2013 she attended MSU and completed a post baccalaureate program before attending Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry. She graduated from OHSU with her DMD in 2019 and accepted a position at a private practice in Tillamook, OR. In 2023 she found an opportunity to return home to Montana and is looking forward to joining the excellent Bozeman dental community again.

Dr. Judd enjoys spending time with her family and friends including her dog Elle hiking, camping, and exploring the beautiful place we call home.

Linda Schafer received her BA in Dental Hygiene from Carroll College in 1984.  She has worked in this office since 1985, previously with Dr. Thad Langford, Dr. Troy Naki, and currently with Dr. Tysa Judd.  In her free time Linda enjoys paper crafting, camping, walking, traveling, and spending time in Arizona.  Linda is a Montana native growing up in Malta and is married to Ron. They have 2 children, Katherine (Keinan) and Andrew (Katie).

Lindsey was born and raised in NE Montana and is a farmer’s daughter. She grew up very connected to the land and her MT roots. She moved to Bozeman in 2004 after she graduated from Dental Hygiene school with her AAS from Sheridan, WY in 2004.
She has always been passionate about health and nutrition, which lead her to further her education and receive her BS and MS in Holistic Whole Plant Nutrition for Athletic Performance from the University of Natural Health and is the founder of Wholicious Living. Additionally, she studied through Cornell University and the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutritional Studies receiving her certification in Plant-Based Nutrition. Lindsey is an expert in health, wellness and nutritional counseling; by focusing on whole person health she has provided sustainable results for people working to improve their lives with diet and lifestyle changes. 

With over two decades experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist, Lindsey is very passionate about helping people live an abundant, vibrant life through solid nutrition and lifestyle practices. She also loves to help people understand the importance oral health has to a person’s overall health and well-being.  

As an elite distance runner she believes in living life without limits and rising to one's truest potential through optimal health.
In her free time she loves to be out in nature to run, hike, camp and backpack with her husband Damian. 

Emily was born and raised in the Bitterroot Valley, Montana. She received her Dental Hygiene degree from Great Falls College MSU. While in school, she found that she has a great passion for helping others and works hard at making her patients feel comfortable while working with them to promote a healthy smile! Outside the office, Emily likes to paddleboard, hike with her dog, Charlie, and spend time with her loved ones.

Reagan was born and raised in the rural agricultural world of Oklahoma. Growing up she participated in rodeo, 4h and softball. In 2015, she moved to Livingston, Montana and attended and graduated from Park high school. In 2019 she earned an all conference -1st team spot for the navy team in the veterans annual softball games. From 2020-2023 she managed construction all over MT and WY with her dog Henry Koe. Reagan resides in Broadwater county where she spends her free time playing with her fur babies, running a cleaning business and traveling.

Lydia Heislen was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV and found herself in Bozeman Montana by furthering her academic and athletic career and Montana State University. Her passion for dentistry sparked when she had gotten orthodontic work done in middle school and knew at that moment she wanted to become a dentist. Lydia is studying nutrition sciences with a pre-dental emphasis and is a part of the dental club, Montana State University Dance Team, working as an assistant at Ascent Dental, as well as being a barista at Cuppa Jo on the Go in Belgrade Montana. Her schedule is full but she loves it and she loves having the opportunity to help the community of Bozeman whilst also learning from it. She cannot wait to continue her time here at Ascent and looks forward to everyday that she can help a new patient.

Koriann was born in Hilo, HI and moved to Montana when she was six years old. She has two young boys, Grayson and Kai, who keep her busy and make up her entire world. She has been in dentistry for about ten years and has a passion for providing the best patient care experience possible. Koriann prides herself in being a positive influence to everyone she encounters and making it her goal to leave things better than she found them.  Outside of working and being a mom, she finds her joy in cooking, playing volleyball and spending time with her family. 

Tamrah has found a new passion in dentistry. Originally from Glasgow, MT, she moved to
Bozeman in 2015 to continue her education at Montana State University. In 2019 she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in marketing and a minor in accounting. However, she quickly realized that she had a desire to help people more. She had always been intrigued with dentistry and immediately started pursuing a post baccalaureate pre-med certificate intending to attend dental school. She soon decided that it would be beneficial to get in-office experience before diving headfirst into a new field. Putting school on hold, she joined the Ascent Dental team in 2024 to gain valuable insight and knowledge of the dental field. Working under Dr. Judd, she has learned a great deal and is excited to continue learning more every day from her. In her free time, Tamrah enjoys paddle boarding and having game nights with her friends, playing hockey, cuddling with her dog, Ruth, and spending quality time with her family. She looks forward to helping the community of Bozeman and is excited to be a part of this amazing team.
